- Urban annual: €290. The annual pass represents an economical option for those who frequently use public transport.
- Suburban Monthly: €46. Valid for travel between suburban and urban areas.
- Suburban Annual: €370. This subscription offers significant savings for regular users.
Passes offer significant discounts for students, young people under 27 and seniors, making them a convenient choice for those who often use public transport.
Options designed for tourists
CITY PASS
Bologna also has the City Pass, ticket designed for tourists and those who don’t often use the bus.
It costs 14 euros and is valid for 10 journeys of 75 minutes eachand is therefore a convenient solution if you have to spend a few days in the city.
BOLOGNA WELCOME CARD
Even more touristy is the Bologna Welcome Carda map provided by the Bolognese tourist office which at a cost of 25 euros (standard) or 40 (Plus) allows, with savings of up to 50 euros, to have free or discounted access to the main attractions of the city.
Getting around by private car

Getting around by taxi
Taxis represent a convenient and quick solution, although more expensive than public transport and car sharing. The Taxi rates in Bologna are as follows:

- Basic fare (start of journey): €3.50 during the day, €6.00 at night and on public holidays.
- Cost per km: €1.10. This rate is applied for each kilometer traveled during the ride.
- Cost for one hour of waiting: €27. This cost is applied if the taxi has to wait for the customer for a prolonged period.
