Tragic accident last night just outside Terracina. A 47-year-old man lost his life in the crash. From an initial reconstruction of the dynamics, everything started with an attempt to overtake. A Fiat Punto headed towards Terracina hit a Fiat Panda which crashed into the middle of the state road. The other car instead skidded and ended up against the guard rail on the edge of the road which literally entered the passenger compartment. When the 118 health workers and the firefighters arrived on site together with the carabinieri they found themselves faced with a terrible scene. To help the injured on board the Punto they had to open the car’s sheet metal. For Leonardo Mieli, 47 years old, there was nothing left to do. The person who was driving the car was serious. The occupants of the other car were in shock.
