BUSTO ARSIZIO – Manara swimming pool, all ready for the new chapter “branded” Aquamore. Tomorrow, Saturday 22 June, the summer open day of the via Manara facility will mark the restart with the new manager who took over from Forus on 1 June. «There are all the conditions for the turning point that citizens are waiting for” he maintains Roberto Ghidotti, municipal councilor delegated to the subsidiaries. «We give credit to the silent work of thesports councilor Maurizio Artusa which maintained relations with Acqua13, a solid and highly capitalized company which is part of the Piscine Castiglione holding company. We are in good hands».
The reopening
Appointment at 9am tomorrow, June 22nd, for the reopening of the outdoor pool of the Manara “Sartori” swimming pool. We will be able to dive in again for the summer, waiting for the internal part to restart in September, after the works. To allow the restart of the summer, the municipal administration had already allocated 83 thousand euros in the budget and yesterday, 20 June, in the budget commission it presented a new emergency variation of 40 thousand euros for further extraordinary works to be reimbursed to Aquamore. «They were purchased 60 umbrellas60 complete tables and 60 covers were laid 70 emergency lampsbeyond 84 sunbeds – says the councilor for sport and budget Maurizio Artusa – Aquamore is in the changing rooms replacing hair dryers and in the meantime they have been corridors repainted and they are being carried out cleaning operations and replacement of shower heads.”

But with the green light from the Court, expected soon, the work will be able to begin.”
Trust in Aquamore
The delegate to the investees reduces doubts about the fact that the tender for the post-Forus was unsuccessful: «Evidently the conditions were not there to support what is required by the tender. But it is no coincidence that the procedure was unsuccessful – claims Roberto Ghidotti – when Agesp managed the plant it lost 700 thousand euros a yeara commitment that first Sport Management and then Forus were unable to sustain. You need broad shoulders and great efficiency to be able to manage Manara in the best way. But I believe that Aqua13 has all the characteristics to be able to succeed in the undertaking, resorting to the necessary economies of scale. The one in Busto is the thirteenth plant they have taken over, including an excellence like the Bocconi Sportcenter». Ghidotti believes in it: «Maintain the same rates as in the past and guarantee the discount to those who want to use the other Aquamore systems in this phase of closure of the internal tanks it’s already a good sign.
