A sixteen-year-old, identified by the initials GC, lost his life in a crash that occurred in Via Mangiavacca, the road that connects Archi to the Park. The young man was driving his SH 125 scooter when, for reasons yet to be ascertained, he lost control of the vehicle and ended up against a tree.
The accident, which occurred shortly after 6.30am, had devastating consequences for the young man. It seems that GC was about to go to work at a club in the area. The impact against the tree caused very serious trauma, which left the boy with no escape. Despite the timely intervention of the 118 emergency services and emergency transport to hospital, the young man died a few minutes after arrival.
