GOALKEEPER CHAPTER
There have been several extreme defenders who have been linked to the Crusaders in recent weeks, synonymous with the fact that the club is looking around to support Leandro Chichizola a colleague who is capable of providing the coach and his teammates with the guarantees necessary to compete in the top national competition. The Argentine seems to be able to stay in the yellow-blue team to play his cards, or at most, take on the role of deputy and at the same time act as “mother hen” to the many young players in the squad.

Despite this, the Gialloblù’s interest in the ’97 class seems to remain alive and is followed by various Serie A teams.
Alessio Cragno: Goalkeeper, Monza (1994) – With the imminent move of Michele Di Gregorio to Juventus, the departure of the former Cagliari player in the summer transfer window is no longer so obvious. After the spell in Sassuolo, the class of ’94 is preparing to return to the Brianza base where coach Alessandro Nesta will be called upon to make the necessary assessments in view of next season, but the eyes of Parma and Turin remain vigilant on Cragno.
Dominik Kotarski: Goalkeeper, PAOK Thessaloniki (2000) – Southampton, Augsburg and Genoa are the yellow-blues’ main competitors to reach the former Ajax player who showed off himself during the recently concluded season. The demands of the Greeks to let the Croatian leave remain very high: the Juventus club, in fact, makes an estimate of around 10 million euros (including bonuses) for 2000 within its national team, a figure that could be considered excessive on the part of the various companies that follow it.
Mark Silvestri: Goalkeeper, Udinese (1991) – After losing his starting place in the Juventus eleven, the former Cagliari and Hellas Verona player (returning from a muscle injury) ended up in the sights of the gialloblù. Despite some recent news reporting that the Friulian goalkeeper would prefer to continue his rehabilitation process in Udine in order to become eligible again, the path that would lead to the expert born in ’91 has not yet completely disappeared. In fact, there are recent rumors that he would be leaving during this summer and Udinese would be taking precautions by looking around in order to find a new deputy for Okoye.
