SWISS has earned first place for its First Class Lounge at Zurich Airport at the Skytrax World Airline Awards 2024. The airline also ranked tenth overall in the awards’ World’s Best Airlines ranking. This year’s World Airline Awards from international rating organization Skytrax were based on a survey of more than 21 million airline customers.
Swiss International Air Lines (SWISS) has once again earned the top spot in the category “World’s Best First Class Airline Lounge” at this year’s renowned Skytrax World Airline Awards, having secured the top spot in 2022. This year’s award was given to the First Class in SWISS Lounge Terminal E at Zurich Airport. The leading Swiss airline was also named one of the top ten airlines in the world by travellers in these 2024 Skytrax Awards.
Roger Geu, Head of Lounges Switzerland, accepted the awards at this year’s Skytrax awards ceremony in London. “We are delighted to receive this award again for our First Class Lounge and also to be named by travelers as one of the ten best airlines in the world,” said Geu. “These prestigious awards are a recognition for us of our commitment to providing our guests with consistently high-level service and optimal travel comfort. The independent World Airline Awards have been presented annually since 1999 by the aviation ratings organisation Skytrax. Corresponding customer surveys evaluate both on-board products and airport services. The 2024 awards were based on more than 21 million ratings of around 350 airlines by customers from more than 100 countries.
