The Prefects of L’Aquila and Teramo have approved the update of the External Emergency Plan of the Gran Sasso National Laboratories of the National Institute of Nuclear Physics.
The Prefect of L’Aquila, Giancarlo Di Vincenzoand the Prefect of Teramo, Fabrizio Stelohave officially approved and signed theupdate of the External Emergency Plan of the Gran Sasso National Laboratories of the National Institute of Nuclear Physics.
The two Prefects shared a document drawn up by the inter-provincial technical table which met on various occasions at the Prefecture of L’Aquila and examined by the Regional Technical Committee at the Regional Directorate of the Fire Brigade, which noted its congruity with the provisions of Prime Ministerial Decree 25/ 02/2005 and consistency with the results of the investigation of the Safety Report examined.
The Plan will be reviewed, tested and, if necessary, updated at appropriate intervals, not exceeding three years, also taking into account changes that have occurred in the establishment and emergency services, technical progress and new knowledge regarding the measures to be adopted in case of major accidents.
The Prefects thank all the members involved in various capacities and in particular the Commander of the L’Aquila Fire Brigade for the effective technical contribution provided.
