Turin, 30 June 2024 – The inhabited centers of Noasca and Ceresole Realein the upper Orco Valley (Turin), are isolated since late yesterday evening due to two dude which occurred during the wave of bad weather. The provincial road 460 of Gran Paradiso was closed. Landslides hit the localities Zaunere and Fornolosa. In Noascawhere result 172 mm of water fellthe waterfall formed by Noaschetta torrentwell known to tourists and hikers, has swelled to the point of covering the bridge on the road before flowing into the Orco.

Circa 90 people were evacuated during the night Macugnagaa town in the Verbano-Cusio-Ossola area foot of Mount Rosadue to theflooding of the Tambach stream. The affected locations are Staffa and Pecettowhere the water came out of the banks and poured into the streets of the town.
