On Wednesday 3 July, well in advance of the resumption of the theatre season, which will be inaugurated with an opera premiere on 25 October, at 6.30 pm in the Ridotto of the Teatro Verdi the programme for the 2024-2025 opera, prose, family and kids and concert season of the Normale will be presented, and the details of the season ticket campaign will also be illustrated.
He will be the artistic director of the Verdi, Cristian Carrarato illustrate the works and shows for children and families proposed in the new season, from October 2024 to April 2025; while the prose season will be presented by Christina Scalettipresident of the Fondazione Toscana Spettacolo and the concerts of the Scuola Normale will be illustrated by Charles Boccadoroartistic director of the concerts at the Normale.
The opera season that will open next October will see the staging of four new productions made in collaboration with 13 Italian theatres as well as an absolute firstthese five titles will go from Gaspare Spontini until
Giacomo Puccini in a sort of journey through a century of Italian music.
The prose season will have an excellent variety of theatrical works between great classics and contemporary titles and, for the third consecutive year, the theatre will open to adults and children thanks to musical shows and fairy tales.
The collaboration with the Scuola Normale will be repeated in the same way for the concert season that will bring great international names to the stage.
