After an exciting first day ad Hamburg (Germany) in the stage Rugby Europe Sevens Championship Series when theItalseven men’s team managed to beat Great Britain and Ukraine, on the second day the boys trained by Matteo Mazzantini lost significantly against France (47-0) and hosts Germany (35-12) in the quarter-finals. Today the challenge to Spain.
The women’s 7s
Coach Saccà’s Women’s team, who yesterday lost two games 26-0 against Spain and Belgium, redeemed themselves today by beating Turkey and Ukraine. Tomorrow the Azzurre will face the games to establish the final placement, from fifth to twelfth place. The Men’s National Team instead fell against both France and Germany (this is the quarter-final game). Tomorrow the challenge with Spain to then understand the next opponents and establish the final placement in the German stage of the European tournament.
