4-star, 5-star targets who are top visit candidates coming up

With the 2023-24 season in high school hoops over and the AAU circuit gearing up over the spring and summer months, Syracuse basketball recruiting targets will start to think more heavily about upcoming visits, whether to the Orange or other suitors.

A little bit of context here. Prospects in the 2026 class can start taking official visits on August 1 of this year. Before that, on June 15, the contact period opens up for this cycle, meaning that college coaches can start initiating direct communication with rising high school juniors.

So after that contact period opens up, we could see more players in that cycle receive scholarship offers from the ‘Cuse coaching staff, among other college squads. Now, 2026 players have already been able to take unofficial visits, while 2025 prospects could go on unofficial or official visits.

Additionally, current NCAA regulations permit high school players to take an unlimited number of official visits to Division I schools, but they’re limited to one official visit per school, unless there’s a head-coaching change after their first visit, at which time they would be allowed a second official.

As Orange coaches focus more aggressively on the 2025 and 2026 classes, we could (and likely will) see the ‘Cuse dole out more offers in these two cycles. As it stands now, to the best of my knowledge, Syracuse basketball has offered nearly 20 players in 2025, and seven to nine of them might be priority recruits.

In the 2026 class, at least eight prospects have received Orange offers, with the ‘Cuse likely showing interest in several more rising high school juniors.

2025 Class

Sadiq White Jr.
The four-star forward from Charlotte, NC, has the Orange in his top seven. He’s unofficially visited the ‘Cuse twice, and I’m highly confident he will be officially visiting Syracuse basketball at some point.

Kiyan Anthony
The New York City four-star shooting guard took an official visit to the Hill in late October of last year, but I’d look for him to potentially take an unofficial trip to the ‘Cuse as he sorts through his recruiting process.

Nigel James
The four-star point guard from New York State went on an unofficial visit to SU for the team’s Elite Camp last August and officially visited the Orange the following month. I could see him taking an unofficial visit to Syracuse basketball.

Derek Dixon
The four-star combo guard from Washington, DC, went on an official visit to the Orange in late September of last year. Assuming the ‘Cuse remains a top choice for him, Dixon could certainly go on an unofficial visit to SU.

Tyler Jackson
In late January of this year, the four-star point guard from Baltimore officially visited Syracuse basketball. The Orange appears to be one of his top schools, and Jackson could unofficially visit the program at some point.

London Jemison
In late December of 2023, the four-star small forward from Connecticut officially visited the ‘Cuse. It’s possible he goes on an unofficial visit to the Orange in the future.

Jerry Easter II
The four-star point guard from Ohio holds a Syracuse basketball scholarship offer but has yet to visit. He has said he wants to officially visit the ‘Cuse, but in talking with various sources over the past few months, it seems a little fuzzy to me how much the Orange staff is recruiting Easter these days.

Cam Ward
The four-star forward from Maryland also has an offer from the ‘Cuse but has yet to visit. If the Orange hopes to prevail for Ward, Syracuse basketball coaches will have to get him to Central New York on a visit. Stay tuned.

Matthew Gilhool
The four-star big man from Philadelphia officially visited the Orange in late September of last year, and he also took an unofficial visit to the ‘Cuse in late February of this year as well as in late August of 2023 for the team’s annual Elite Camp . However, Gilhool’s lead SU recruiter has been former associate head coach Gerry McNamara, who recently was named Siena’s head coach. So it wouldn’t surprise me if Syracuse basketball doesn’t end up being a significant contender for Gilhool.

2026 Class

Alex Constanza
The five-star guard/small forward is highly interested in visiting the Orange, his dad has told me.

Imahri Wooten
The four-star guard from New York state took an unofficial visit to the ‘Cuse last October and is highly interested in officially visiting Syracuse basketball, his dad has told me.

Jordan Smith Jr.
The five-star shooting guard from the Washington, DC, area recently said in an interview that he will visit the Orange soon.

Deron Rippey Jr.
The four-star point guard from New York City went on an unofficial visit to Syracuse basketball in late February of this year. His dad told me that the Orange is “definitely” a priority as far as getting an official visit from his son.

Jasiah Jervis
The four-star New York City guard doesn’t yet have a scholarship offer from the ‘Cuse, but I expect him to land one at some point. I also believe that Jervis will take a visit to the Hill in the future.

Neiko Mundey
The four-star point guard from Maryland unofficially visited the Orange for its Elite Camp last August, and I could see him taking an official visit to the ‘Cuse, assuming mutual interest remains between him and the Syracuse basketball staff.

Prince-Alexander Moody
The four-star wing from Maryland also went on an unofficial visit to the ‘Cuse for the team’s Elite Camp in 2023. Candidly, I’m not sure how aggressively the Syracuse basketball staff is recruiting him these days.

Anthony Brown
The point guard from North Virginia participated in the Orange’s Elite Camp last August while on an unofficial visit to the ‘Cuse. If mutual interest still exists between him and the SU staff, I could see Brown visiting Syracuse basketball again.

Adam Oumiddoch
The four-star wing from Northern Virginia doesn’t have an offer from the Orange, however, he has said in prior interviews that he has an interest in the ‘Cuse. Should he get offered, I could envision him visiting Syracuse basketball at some point.

Parker Robinson
The combo guard from Maryland unofficially visited the Orange last August for Elite Camp. He doesn’t yet have a scholarship offer from the ‘Cuse, but perhaps he’ll get one after the contact period for 2026 prospects opens up in mid-June.

Maximo Adams
The five-star small forward from California has an offer from Syracuse basketball. His AAU coach told me in the past that Adams is interested in visiting the Orange. However, in mid-February, in unbelievably sad news, Adams’ father passed away. It’s entirely possible that Adams may want to stick close to home for his future college team.
