The awareness campaign for the adoption of four-legged guests at the municipal kennel in via Po n. continues. 59, promoted by the Wildlife Management Service of the Municipality of Cagliari.
The reception hours for adoptions are from Monday to Saturday from 10am to 12pm, by appointment, by contacting the Kennel via email at the email address [email protected] or by calling the numbers 070.6778115 or 070.6776469.

It is worth remembering that the municipal institutional portal is being updated this week and therefore temporary inaccessibility of the cards is possible: if this occurs, the invitation is to connect at a later time.
Today we present Arvin. Arvin is a 7-year-old Pit Bull-like, full male of medium size (about 22 kg), who entered the kennel because he was found injured near “Sa Illetta” in Cagliari at the beginning of March 2023. Arvin was in good health, without microchipped and used to going on a leash and being in contact with people. Upon his arrival at the kennel Arvin was visited and subjected to tests, he underwent surgery and is now undergoing rehabilitation, but he walks and runs independently without difficulty. Arvin is extremely affectionate with people, willingly rests on warm blankets or pillows and already knows how to walk on a leash.
Like most Bull Terriers, he does not get along with other dogs, with whom he always takes on hostile and provocative attitudes, but with people he is truly a docile and affectionate dog. Arvin is clearly an owned dog, probably one of the many who were left free and unattended to wander around the area, until he was run over and ended up in a kennel. For Arvin we are looking for a family of young or adult people, living in an apartment or house with a garden, willing to let him do the right daily physical activity; he is given up for adoption as the only dog, vaccinated and in possession of a regular microchip.
