Paf, director Neri Marcorè arrives at Filo on May 4th

The actor and director Neri Marcorè will be at the Cinema Filo in Cremona (Piazza dei Filodrammatici, 4) on Saturday 4 May, at 6pm and 9pm, to present the film Zamora (his debut behind the camera). The initiative sees the collaboration of Cinema Filo, the Società Filodrammatica Cremonese and the Porte Aperte Festival – which will liven up Cremona from 23 to 26 May – with Lsd Festival of Fidenza and the Cremonapalloza Association. After both screenings, Marcorè will talk with Carmine Calettisecretary of the Cremonapalloza Association.

THE FILM
Walter Vismara is the accountant of a small provincial factory. Having moved to Milan out of necessity, he finds himself working in a company whose owner is obsessed with football and is very keen on the fact that his employees play a match every year.

However, one of the two teams that will have to face each other is missing a goalkeeper and Walter, to comply with the boss’s wishes, pretends to be one. However, he will have to try to find a solution before the meeting.

NERI MARCORE’
Actor, imitator, dubber, television and radio host, singer and now director, Neri Marcorè was born in Porto Sant’Elpidio (in the province of Fermo, in the Marche) on 31 July 1966. In 1994 he made his cinema debut in the film Cinema thieves by Piero Natoli and in 1995 he was on television as the voice-over of the quiz genius in Producer – The great game of cinemahosted by Serena Dandini and Claudio Masenza on Rai 3.

His imitations of characters such as Alberto Angela and Bruno Pizzul are famous. He has worked in dozens of films, directed by Sabina Guzzanti, Pupi Avati, Davide Ferrario, Carlo Virzì, Sergio Rubini, Sydney Sibilia, Cristina Comencini, Guido Chiesa. Numerous participations in TV series and films, as well as hosting programs such as For a handful of books. He has dozens of theatrical works in which he has been involved over the last three decades. He has voiced Ron Perlman, John Turturro, Stephen Fry, Timothy Spall, Adrien Brody and has lent his voice to dozens of audiobooks. Zamora is his debut as a film director.
