Presented today Michele Mignaninew technician of the Cesena. Below is an excerpt of his statements, collected by the Corriere Romagna.
“Thank you all for your trust, to the director and to the club. My qualities? Difficult to describe them, perhaps a form of personal balance, balance is a peculiarity… being here in Cesena is a source of pride. I met an ambitious, rapidly growing company and here I can continue my journey. After a victory in the championship, the prerequisite is to continue on the wave of enthusiasm, even if the category is different. In Serie B there are well-equipped and strong teams, we will have to find the best solution to try to do badly.”
How do players prepare for a new world like B? “I still have a few days to think about it… certainly in football what was done yesterday no longer counts, what counts is what you do tomorrow. There will be many kids in their first year of B and I have to accompany them on a journey of enthusiasm. It will be one battle after another.”
The objectives? “I haven’t talked about it with the club, the biggest goal is to give the best of ourselves.” Which module did you choose and what role will young people have? “Modern coaches must have a broad scope and change in course during the race. Last year’s form could be a starting point, but we will have to know how to change along the way. Young people? Cesena has always shown that it knows how to develop very interesting players, everyone participated profitably and I don’t see why continuity shouldn’t be given.”
