The funeral of Anna Sviridenko took place yesterday at the Funeral Home in Modena, the 40-year-old (she would have turned 41 on August 13th), of Belarusian origins, mother of two children, aged three and five, killed last June 10th for hand of her husband Andrea Paltrinieri (now in the Sant’Anna prison in Modena) and from whom she was separating. The ceremony was accompanied by strong emotion and moods that constantly intersected, on the one hand the denunciation of yet another femicide, on the other the compassion and request of Father Arletti to have mercy on that man who was guilty of such an assassination.
