On the feast day of Saint Peter and Paul, Cetara celebrated, as usual, the anniversary of the patron saint with the procession and the traditional fireworks at midnight. An event that attracts visitors and tourists every year. Many have chosen to reach the coastal village using the sea routes to watch the spectacular fireworks. Travelmar ferries transported approximately 2700 passengers on the outward journey and the same number on the return journey. But the return itself turned into an odyssey. More than 2 hours of waiting to be able to board with the fires that ended at a quarter past midnight. More trips and larger motorboats would have been needed to dispose of the long queues of those who, after spending a beautiful evening in the splendid Cetara, had to deal with an unexpected ordeal in time.
