Zoro has currently begun a very complicated confrontation with Saint Nusjuro, and if he were to emerge victorious – a very unlikely development – his desire would truly be closer.
True, Zoro has perfected his technique, and is equipped with some of the most powerful and deadly katanas in the series, but Shanks’ mastery of ambition could easily allow him to win over the Mugiwara.
