Compact political minorities in Saint-Vincent and Châtillonwhere opposition groups have requested a joint municipal council to discuss the socio-economic situation of the two countries, security and public order.
The invitation to participate in the Council, which will be convened within 30 days for an extraordinary and urgent sessionit has arrived also to the regional councilors Jean-Pierre Guichardaz (Cultural assets and activities, educational system and policies for intergenerational relations) e Carlo Marzi (Health, health and social policies). “Given the topics discussed, the presence of councilors in the debate is considered fundamental” explain the opposition.

During the session, topics relating to public order, vandalism, bullying and healthcare will be discussed, but also the progressive depopulation of the municipalities, currently among the most populous in the middle valley, and the reduction of the school and training offer. “Topics which – explain the minority councilors – require joint action by both administrations”.
