State Police arrests a 23-year-old for aggravated violation of domicile

The State Police officers of the Foligno Police Station, following a call to the European Emergency Number, intervened in a home in the city where they arrested a young Tunisian citizen, born in 2001, with a criminal record, for the crime of aggravated violation of domicile.

Specifically, the 23-year-old, in a state of alteration due to alcohol and drug abuse, after having insistently called an acquaintance of his without receiving an answer, went to her home, insulting and threatening her and violently hitting the front door, circumstances that led the woman to request help from the State Police.

Not satisfied, the man then climbed onto the window parapet and, after breaking the glass, entered the house.

The police, who had arrived in the meantime, found him still inside the apartment, in pain due to the injuries he had suffered during the break-in.

After requesting the intervention of the medical personnel for the necessary treatment, the officers questioned the woman about the incident, who reported that the 23-year-old had made advances towards her and, seeing that he was rejected, had started to call her insistently until the last episode.

Accompanied to the police station for the ritual activities, the man was arrested for the crime of aggravated trespassing and, upon order of the Judicial Authority of the Public Prosecutor’s Office at the Court of Spoleto, detained in the security cells in waiting for the validation hearing.

The accused shall be presumed innocent until a final conviction is reached.
