(Telestock) – Friday 5 Julyin Barletta, the Institute Alfredo Reichlin and the Svimez organize, in collaboration with the Municipality of Barletta ed UniCreditthe second day of studies dedicated to Alfredo Reichlin, after the first edition last year. The meeting, which will be held at the Sala Rossa “V. Palumbieri” from 10.30 to 17.30, will be an opportunity to discuss industrial policies and the Southwith academics, economic operators and institutions.
They will introduce the works Cosimo CannitoMayor of Barletta, Adriano GiannolaPresident Svimez e Pietro Reichlin of the Reichlin Institute. The panel will follow “Southern industry in the European context” with an introduction by the President of the Reichlin Institute Giuliano Amato, the reports of Luca Bianchi, Director of Svimez and Francesca Lotti of the Bank of Italy. Then the discussion with university professors Maria Savona of LUISS and Francesco Prota of the University of Bari. A round table is then planned on “Where is the Southern economy going?” with Raffaele Piemontese, Vice President of the Puglia Region, Antonio Accetturo of the Bank of Italy, Valeria Fascione of the Campania Region and Sergio Fontana of Confindustria Bari.
In the afternoon the second session dedicated to “Public and private a ‘Southern Europe‘” which will see the report of the SVIMEZ researcher, Serenella Caravella on “Lessons from policy experience: when do development contracts work?” and then the round table “Building a ‘European’ Southern Industrial Ecosystem: Business, Banking, Research”, with the introduction of Pier Carlo Padoan, President of UniCredit and the speeches of Renato Martire, of STMicroelectronics; Maria Luigia Bucci, General Secretary of CGIL Puglia; Ferdinando Natali, Regional Manager South of UniCredit and Gian Paolo Manzella, Vice President of Svimez.
The event is scheduled to end at 5pm with Oronzo CilliCouncilor of the Municipality of Barletta, Giuliano Amato e Adriano Giannola.
