A group of scientists have put the entire planet on alert after recently determining the exact date when the end of the world will occur.
Mammals dominated the planet for approximately 55 million years through adaptations and resistance to warming and cooling during the Cenozoic, which is the last division of the geologic time scale that began after the extinction of the dinosaurs and which extends to the present day.
Science has made significant progress in the field of research and it is absolutely interesting to take into consideration a new study published in the specialist journal Nature Geoscience which revealed important news on the topic, predicting the exact date when the mass extinction will occur which will lead the world to never be the same again.
To test and confirm this theory, a team of scientists from the University of Bristol in the UK used advanced climate models and modern computers to project how the merging of continents into a single supercontinent will affect the Earth’s climate and habitability.

When is the end of the world predicted according to science?
Scientists have pointed out that the conditions that make Earth naturally inhospitable to humans and all mammals could develop earlier than previously thought due to long-term processes related to plate tectonics. The study indicates that Current global warming will cause temperatures to rise above physiological limitsmaking some parts of the world uninhabitable.
There will be high emissions scenarios that suggest that some physiological thermal thresholds will be exceeded mainly in coastal regions of the continents of Africa, Oceania, Europe and South Asia. All life, scientists have stressed, will end up in an uncontrolled greenhouse when absorbed solar radiation exceeds the emission of thermal radiation by several billion years.
Experts on the subject have underlined that in 250 million years all the continents will converge to form the supercontinent Pangea Ultima. However, scientists have warned that conditions that threaten mammals’ dominance on Earth could occur even sooner than the study suggests. Pangea Ultima is predicted to form when the Sun emits 2.5 percent more energy than it does today. At that point, Earth could reach a tipping point that would make it uninhabitable for mammals.

The authors of the study explained that the new supercontinent would create a triple threat for all mammals present on Earth: thecontinentality effectand hotter sun e more CO2 in the atmospherewhich would increase heat across much of the planet. Widespread temperatures of between 40 and 50 degrees Celsius could be expected.
