The Municipality of Parma has announced some updates regarding the changes to the road network in Viale Piacenza due to works on the water network, following the progress of the construction site which is proceeding well ahead of schedule.
From 01/07/2024 to 19/07/2024, from 00:00 to 24:00.
Viale Piacenza near the roundabout at the intersection with Via Lanfranco – Establishment of a traffic ban.
Vehicles coming from the East, arriving at the aforementioned intersection will be diverted onto Via Lanfranco. Vehicles coming from the intersection Pasini Avenue/Piacenza Avenue/Savani Avenuethey will follow a detour onto Viale Piacenza in the direction of Via Buffolara/Piazzale Caduti del Lavoro.
Piacenza Avenue – from Via Lanfranco to Via Savani – Establishment of a traffic ban except for residents, vehicles for loading and unloading goods, rescue and emergency vehicles.
Access for such vehicles will always be guaranteed to the civic numbers belonging to the northbound carriageway of Viale Piacenza, in the section between Via Lanfranco and Via Savani, by opening dedicated lanes and demolishing the traffic divider element.

Piacenza Avenue – Southbound carriageway, from Via Carlo Magno to Via Lanfranco, in the sections progressively affected – Establishment of a traffic ban on the semi-carriageway in the West-East direction.
Establishment of a ban on stopping on both sides of the entire stretch of road. Access to the street numbers of the interlocked stretch (South) will always be guaranteed, by opening dedicated gates with demolition of the traffic island element.

Piacenza Avenue – Northern carriageway, from Via Carlo Magno to civ.21 (Conad car park access) – Narrowing of the carriageway. Establishment of a ban on stopping on both sides. Access to the parking area of Viale Piacenza 25/A must always be guaranteed
