Campaign: today farewell to Cosimo Filantropia, third victim of the accident on the state road

They will take place this afternoon at 4pm in the church of San Bartolomeo in Campagna the Cosimo’s funeral Philanthropy the 75-year-old victim of the tragic road accident which occurred on Saturday 6 April and which also cost the lives of the two young carabinieri Francesco Pastore and Francesco Mazzaro aged 25 and 27.

Mourning

Campagna, therefore, stops again for mourning and this afternoon it does so to pay its final farewell to Cosimo Filantropia, the 75-year-old retired tiler, a cheerful, dynamic man who was loved by all.

Campagna pays homage to a man, a family man, a husband and an exceptional friend, the unwitting victim of the dramatic accident that not only affected the entire local community but also the neighboring communities and the land of Puglia.

Cosimo Filantropia leaves behind his wife Ortigia, his children Maria Giovanna and Marco, many relatives and many many friends who loved him.

The funeral

At the funeral rite in the church of San Bartolomeo this afternoon, the municipal administration with the Mayor Biagio Luogo will also be present to honor a man, a friend, a true countryman.
