Radda in Chianti, 29 April 2024 – After 4 and a half years, the twenty-two-year-old from Brianza Andrea Piras of Named Sport MI Impianti directed by Paolo Riva, took his first victory as an amateur in Tuscany at the finish line of the Castello di Albola near Radda in Chianti Under 23 with an advantage in the hardest stretch of the final climb that led to the finish line. Piras spent a brilliant time as a protagonist as a student and as a junior, he also wore the blue shirt, but in the three years with Beltrami TSA he had only achieved sporadic placings. In 2024 he moved to Named Sport MIImpianti and already last Saturday in the Giro della Franciacorta he did well, taking fifth place. The race he won was the third and last of the Regional Triptych set up by Pol. Tripetetolo starting from Fattoria Rocca di Montemassi in the municipality of Roccastrada in the province of Grosseto, thanks to the director Alessandro Gallo, and ending at Castello di Albola in Chianti with in the Fabrizio Fabbri Memoprial will also be up for grabs to remember the brilliant cycling champion from Pistoia.
