First part of Bicimparo “Kinder Joy of moving” on the morning of Wednesday 24 April at the former Mario Puchoz stadium in Aosta, entirely dedicated to cycling games for children in nursery school and lower secondary schoolfrom five years old and up, under the careful direction of Lupi Valle d’Aosta sports group.

The playing field of what was the football temple of our region divided into islands, to deal with the road safety aspect, lessons held by two teachers from the technical school of the Italian Cycling Federation in collaboration with the State Police; the exhaustive explanations on the ‘mechanics’ and use of the bicycle and, in conclusion, the practical test on routes between the ‘cones’ for skillful driving.

The morning was enlivened by well over one hundred and seventy very young students – Saint-Pierre Primary, Einaudi Primary and Childhood, Monseigneur Jourdain Primary, Jovençan Primary, Saint-Orso Primary, Don Bosco Primary – who, between ‘lessons’, explanations and demonstrations , they approached the use of the bicycle, guided by the instructors of Gs Lupi; and then again, free games, the inevitable break for a ‘snack’ and, to conclude, the group photo, in the presence of Ferrero’s events manager, Massimo Castiglia.

In the afternoon, at the former Mario Puchoz stadium, Bicimparo continued with the skill tests, open to all FCI members of the very young category – skill tests in five sectors – and the team gymcana-sprint valid for qualification for the final of Bicimparo, scheduled for 21 June 2024, in Tarvisio (Udine), in conjunction with the National Society Meeting.

At the end of the five skill tests, the best thirty-two – 24 boys and 8 girls – started the qualification against the clock on the gymcana-sprint track; once the time classification had been defined, based on a predefined grid, eight teams were formed, which competed – starting from the quarter-finals – in direct elimination in the relay format.

Playing for the pass to the Tarvisio finals were Ilan Bianquin, Filippo De Gaetano, Mathias Faita and Amélie Berlier who, in the decisive match, beat Nicolò Salice, Teo Sartori, Davide Tropiano and Maelys Cortese.
