the main focus is sustainability understood as energy saving and quality of food

attention to your work. A model that wants to represent one

*LAMBERTO BIANCONE – TECHNICAL BUILDING DIRECTOR – MANELLI IMPRESA SpA*
“The real estate complex under construction consists of two
main buildings: the building of the new offices of the Venice Chamber of Commerce
Rovigo and the Glass Experimental Station building. Theirs
project, even though they are buildings with essentially different functions, is
been conceived, as far as possible with uniform privileging criteria
the adoption of systems and materials that allowed an economy of resources.
The structure, for example, was designed taking advantage of the synergy between
steel and reinforced concrete, while for infills and coverings
external systems, the so-called a systems were mainly favored
dry. The building of the new offices of the Chamber of Commerce presents spaces
offices with intended uses that differ, depending on the floor, in
offices open or not to the public. There are also areas of
reception, meeting rooms, representative and operational offices.
The Glass Experimental Station Building presents destinations
of differentiated use which include offices and supporting laboratories
technical-scientific aspects of the entire glass supply chain (producers,
processors, glass users, raw material producers,
refractories and systems intended for the glass industry). The structures of
buildings have been sized in such a way as to meet the requirements of
resistance and capacity referring to the intended uses,
as well as to respond to the specific needs acquired over the years
project insights conducted. The equipment and finishing levels of the
various environments are aimed at ensuring comfort without losing sight of the
practicality of use, management and maintenance. Sustainability is one
choice that must be pursued both ‘a priori’ in the design phase,
which in the executive phase and therefore involves, throughout the entire
process, particular attention to the choice of systems and materials
consistent with the objective of creating both buildings with high
incidence of renewable energy production (extending the installation
of photovoltaic systems to the entire complex) as well as through the use
of high performance thermal insulation materials thanks to which
will achieve significant energy savings.”
Manelli Impresa SpA is a general contractor in the manufacturing sector
construction companies with experience in the development of complex projects. The group
is made up of companies specialized in the construction of works in the sector
infrastructure, public construction and private construction.
