Nico Hulkenberg’s announcement follows the full acquisition by Audiof the Sauber Group and the appointment of Oliver Hofmann as Head of the Audi Formula 1 program.
Hofmann will also be responsible for the management of Sauber and the Swiss Group of the same name, as well as Audi Formula Racing GmbH, as Head of Power Unit Development.
