Lagazuoi Winning Ideas Mountain Awards
The Lagazuoi Winning Ideas Mountain Awards constitute an initiative promoted by the Lagazuoi EXPO Dolomiti, the highest exhibition space in Italy, located at an altitude of 2,732 meters between Cortina d’Ampezzo and Val Badia. The objective of this initiative is to identify and enhance innovative projects, products and ideas in the sectors of mountain equipment and clothing, services, apps and food and wine production linked to the mountain environment.
After careful analysis, the award jury decided to award the award in the category “mountain equipment and clothing” to the Lecco brand Rock Experience for the creation of the Silex jacket, a extremely technical leader belonging to the collection top of the range Ground Up. This collection, born from the collaboration between the company’s designers and members of the well-known Ragni di Lecco mountaineering group, offers a wide range of high-level mountaineering clothing, characterized above all by lightness and performance. The Silex jacket was evaluated by the jury who, in mid-December, selected it as one of the three finalist products in the WIMA “mountain equipment and clothing” category. Subsequently, the public was involved in the event and, during the entire month of February, he had the opportunity to vote for your Winning Idea favorite among the three finalists in each category, via the website and dedicated social channels.
All selected projects will come exhibited at the Lagazuoi EXPO Dolomiti; the exhibition, which will take place in room L4, was inaugurated on Saturday 23 March 2024 on the occasion of the awards ceremony and will be open to the public until March 2025, during the opening periods of the Lagazuoi cable car. Please note that entry to the exhibition will be free.
