Game 3 of the Round of 16: Brescia and Reggio Emilia on the pitch on Sunday at 6.00 pm for access to the Quarterfinals
Only one piece is missing from the quarter-finals of the Del Monte Italian Cup® Series A2. Tomorrow, Sunday 28 April, at 6.00 pm, the Consuls Sferc Brescia and the Conad Reggio Emilia they will face each other at San Filippo for Game 3 of the round of 16. The Tucans won the first round at home with the maximum margin, while the Reggio Emilia team made up for it in the second match by winning 3-1 within friendly walls. The next one will be a challenge without appeals. Whoever manages to prevail in Lombardy will advance to the next round (first leg with the Golden Set rule) against the already qualified Emma Villas Siena. In the last match, played at the PalaBigi, Conad shone on serve and proved to be more constant in attack, despite Niels Klapwijk’s exploits among the Brescians (23 points). In Game 3 the field factor and the mental aspect could play a significant role.

Del Monte® The A2 Italian Cup will be played once the Regular Season is over, and the 12 Serie A2 teams will participate (all with the exception of the two that will be relegated to Serie A3). It will be played in parallel with the Play Offs valid for promotion to the SuperLega Credem Banca. The five teams that finished from 8th to 12th place in the season, together with the three eliminated in the Play Off Quarter Final series, will play in the Round of 16, with the “two wins out of three” formula (14, 21, 28 April 2024). The four Clubs that pass the round will be paired in the Quarter Finals with the four Semifinalists of the Play Offs: two matches and the possible Golden Set (1, 5 May) will thus decide the four participants in the Final Four in Cuneo (11, 12 May) .
