From June 2024 the Faenza Museums Carda new circuit that allows visitors to benefit from discounts on visits to three of the most important museums in the city: Palazzo Milzetti National Museum of the Neoclassical Age in Romagna; Municipal Art Gallery of Faenza; International Museum of Ceramics of Faenza.
There card, delivered free of charge to the visitor in the first of the three museums, allows you to obtain a discount of 2.00 Euros on both full admissions to the next two museums visited. The Card is valid for three days from the moment of issue.
Enhancement agreement for the city
The establishment of Faenza Card Museums derives from a valorization agreement signed between the Regional Directorate of National Museums Emilia-Romagna of the Ministry of Culture, the Department of Culture of the Municipality of Faenza and the International Museum of Ceramics Foundation of Faenza.
In addition to wanting to make the city’s museums increasingly accessible from an economic point of view, the Card has the function of clearly signaling, particularly to visitors visiting from outside, the important cultural offering of the territory to which they belong the three museums, which share the idea of creating a broad cultural network aimed at enhancing the entire city of Faenza.
In fact, the objective is to enhance and make the local heritage increasingly known to the general public and to network not only ticketing, but also many other initiatives or co-planned study, research and promotion activities, strengthening the collaborations already in place between the three institutions, as established for some time by the National Museum System promoted by the Ministry of Culture
The Milzetti Card
There FaenzaMuseiCard is added, at Palazzo Milzetti, to the Milzetti paper, aimed in particular at local citizens who intend to return to the museum several times, not only to visit it, but to participate in the many initiatives that are carried out there. The purchase of the Milzetti Card (annual cost Euro 10.00 for adults, Euro 4.00 for children aged 18-25) allows free access to the museum for an entire year, starting from the date of purchase.
