The 24-year-old girl who was hit on Sunday evening in via Ricotti and dragged under a car for 300 meters before being rescued thanks to the random passage of a police car from the Comasina police station woke up from a coma. To free her, the officers lifted the car bodily. The girl was with a 29-year-old friend, who was not dragged by the car and had not very serious consequences.
The 24-year-old was taken to Niguarda in serious condition, with multiple fractures to her arms and hands, and ended up in a medically induced coma. The young man who hit her, a 21-year-old from the area, risked being lynched by witnesses to the accident and, having tested positive for alcohol, was reported.
Now, out of a medically induced coma, she has entrusted her thoughts to Instagram, writing that she will have to undergo another surgical operation. And that she “did very well in the bad luck”, even though she had “thought about dying”. And then she: “I’ll come out of this stronger than before and with more balls than usual, because when you see death in the face you immediately change your vision of everything.”
