The police commissioner of the province of Vicenza, Dario Sallustio, has issued an Urban Daspo, also commonly known as “Daspo Willy” against MBE, a Tunisian born in 1996, legally present in the national territory and resident in Vicenza, who, on June 29, was arrested by police officers from the police headquarters after having disturbed the workers and customers of the bar “La Terrazza della Basilica” in Vicenza.

On that occasion, he had resisted the intervening officers, to the point of attacking them after having repeatedly offended them, causing them personal injuries. Furthermore, accompanied to the police station under arrest, he had damaged the service vehicle with kicks and punches.

After the arrest, the foreigner was held in the police station’s holding cells until yesterday morning, when, by order of the Judicial Authority, he was taken to be validated with a direct trial. At the end of the hearing, the arrest was validated, and the man was released with the measure of the obligation to sign in with the judicial police.

Against him, the police commissioner of Vicenza, having noted the intolerant attitude towards the laws of the State, as well as the clear propensity to antisocial behavior and the strong social alarm created, with serious danger for safety, security, health and public tranquility, has issued a provision prohibiting access and parking in the immediate vicinity, to all public places located in the territory of the province of Vicenza, for a period of two years. In the event of violation, the penalty is imprisonment from one to three years and a fine from 10,000 to 24,000 euros.
