FREE COURSE TO CULTIVATE THE EXCELLENCE OF THE TERRITORY IN TUSCANY

Per-corso Training Agency creates in Tuscany the free course to become an employee of technical and agronomic interventions on crops and management of systems, machines and equipment.

The outgoing profile usually finds employment in single or associated agricultural companies, agricultural service companies and contracting companies.

Let’s remember that the training opportunity is completely free, as it is financed by the Tuscany Region with resources from the PR FSE+ Toscana 2021-2027 and included in the regional Giovanisì project.

TRAINING OFFER

Below we report the professional agronomic skills that will be acquired along the way:

• cultivation and processing of agricultural excellence in the Lucca area and, in particular: vines, olives, vegetables (in particular IGP and Slow Food Presidium), legumes (in particular beans Slow Food Presidium), fruit trees, grains and corn;
• innovative technologies for environmental sustainability and crop efficiency;
• operations relating to the processing and fertilization of the land, sowing, phytosanitary treatments, pruning, harvesting and all other agronomic and cultivation processes of tree, herbaceous and horticultural production;
• collaborate in the management of the company, including the care and maintenance of the equipment used;
• various operations on the company’s products, from transformation to sale.

RECIPIENTS OF THE COURSE

They can sign up for the free training course to cultivate the excellence of the local area unemployed And inactive in possession of a three-year Vocational Education and Training qualification (3 EQF) or who are at least 18 years old.

LOCATION AND DURATION OF THE COURSE, QUALIFICATION

The route will take place approximately from 29 July 2024 to 29 May 2025 to Lucca.

Overall, there are expected 900 hours distributed in:

• n. 240 classroom hours;
• n. 360 laboratory hours;
• n. 30 hours of collective/individual orientation;
• n. 270 hours of internship in companies in the sector.

Lessons will be held from Monday to Friday from 9am to 1pm – 2pm to 6pm.

The percentage of compulsory attendance is 70% of the total number of hours. Within this percentage, students are required to attend at least 50% of the internship hours.

Upon passing the final exam, the Qualification of person responsible for technical and agronomic interventions on crops and management of systems, machines and equipment.

SELECTION

There are 15 places available. In the event that applications exceed this threshold, a selection will be announced which will consist of a written test and an interview, in addition to verification of the diploma and/or degree relevant to the role and possible previous work experience. .
