Massa, 25 June 2024 – A provision of access denied to public establishments and places of public entertainment, in the nightlife area of Marina di Massa (Massa Carrara) was issued by the police commissioner of the province of Massa Carrara Santi Allegra, on the proposal of the financial police, after an investigation by the anti-crime division, against a 51-year-old “following a serious episode which occurred last May 6th in the immediate vicinity of a bar in Piazza Betti”, explain the investigators in a note. In particular, the military “noticed a man brandishing a gun and immediately intervened to stop him, while seizing the weaponlater found to be spring-operated”.
The 51-year-old Italian resident in Massa, already known to the police, was reported to the judicial authorities for the crimes of violence, threats and insults to a public official, caused alarm and unjustified carrying of objects capable of offending. “The episode, which occurred in a typical ‘nightlife’ venue in Marina di Massa, characterized by the notable influx of residents and tourists, especially in this period, has aroused particular social alarm among the citizens, as the man caused a serious danger to public safety”, the investigators continue, explaining that: “The police commissioner, considering the social danger of the man and considering his behavior actually and potentially dangerous for urban safety, issued the order of Daspo Willywhich will prohibit him from accessing and staying, for 18 months, in public businesses and places of public entertainment, located in the nightlife area of Marina di Massa, in order to prevent him from repeating dangerous and similar behaviors that could jeopardize social coexistence” .
