The Italian National Teams’ journey continues at the Rugby Europe Sevens Championship Series in Hamburg. The decisive matches for the tournament rankings are scheduled for Sunday 30 June, live on Rugby Europe TV, after the first verdicts were given on Saturday’s matches.
Coach Saccà’s women’s team, which on the first day had lost two matches 26-0 against Spain and Belgium, redeemed itself by beating Turkey and Ukraine. Today the Azzurre will compete in races to establish the final placing, from fifth to twelfth place.
The men’s national team instead lost to both France and Germany (this was the quarter-final match). Today at 10.05 the match against Spain to then understand the next opponents and establish the final placement in the German stage.
