The portal will be open from July 1st Tuscany region for the reporting of expenses incurred for the immediate support of citizens, businesses and agricultural companies.

To activate the refund procedure, it is necessary to connect to the dedicated website where citizens can upload receipts, invoices and everything that certifies the expenses incurred, and then receive reimbursements. Following the allocation by the government of 66milioni for immediate support, the president Eugenio Giani (in his role as commissioner) immediately activated the necessary procedures to obtain the refunds provided for by national provisions: up to 5 thousand euros for families and up to 20 thousand euros for businesses affected by the flood.

Furthermore, anyone who requests a refund of more than 8 thousand euros can request a advance of 2,500 euros

The actions implemented by the Region are summarized by President Giani: “Since the day of the flood – he said – I have always been on the front line with the utmost attention paid to the citizens affected. From the immediate allocation of regional resources (25 million in total that we are finalizing the disbursement), to the calls for support for businesses, the extremely urgent interventions in the affected territories, concluded in most cases, but still in progress where the works are longer, up to today, in which, with the opening of the portal, a further phase opens, that of reimbursements which will lead to the distribution of the 66 million allocated by the government of which I am the executive commissioner for families and businesses”

The refunds, Giani recalls, are “cumulative with the 3000 euros that the families have received or are receiving”.
