PESCARA. “A delicate case”. These are the words with which the Prosecutor’s Office defined the investigation into the murder of the 17-year-old which occurred yesterday in Baden Powell park, and there is a reason. The two boys arrested, in fact, belong to the “Pescara bene” and are from unsuspecting families. One is the son of the commander of the Carabinieri of a station in the Pescarese area, while the other is the son of a well-known lawyer.

According to what emerged, the murder would have occurred in the drug sector, more precisely in small-scale dealing. The crime apparently occurred with multiple stab wounds – we think it was a diving knife given the wounds inflicted – in the late afternoon of Sunday 23 June. Information on the nationality of the victim is currently conflicting.

Very young man killed in the park, two minors arrested / UPDATES
The victim was 17 years old, the argument would have taken place over issues related to small-time dealing. Abandoned in the undergrowth, the boy’s body was discovered only late in the evening
Some sources speak of a young Albanian, while the agencies Handle And Adnkronos they claim he is an Italian. The agents of the flying squad, the forensic police, the 118, the chief prosecutor Giuseppe Bellelli, the deputy Gennaro Varone and the medical examiner Cristian D’Ovidio also intervened on site last night. The alleged murderers, according to what has been leaked so far, after killing the 17-year-old would have gone for a swim in the sea. There, presumably, they would have disposed of the weapon used.
The police reached them after listening to witnesses and acquaintances throughout the night at the police station and having viewed the surveillance images present in the park area and near the bathing establishment where all the members of the group went after the brutal crime . According to an initial reconstruction, the victim was lured to an unsupervised area behind the park and then hit repeatedly with a cutting weapon in the vital parts of the body. “These investigations”, we read in a note from the police headquarters, “were carried out in the context of the operational connection between the ordinary prosecutor’s office of Pescara and the public prosecutor’s office at the Juvenile Court of L’Aquila. The dramatic story, from the first jokes, highlighted an iincredible youthful discomfort, a surprising lack of emotional empathy and a clear inability to understand the extreme negative value of the actions committed. These dysfunctional attitudes deserve extensive study, as well as the necessary reconstruction of dynamics and responsibilities. To this end, the ongoing investigative activities are directed, coordinated by the Prosecutor’s Office at the Juvenile Court of L’Aquila”.
