Patronal feast of Saints Peter and Paul
A weekend full of cultural activities and entertainment for adults and children in the Baita degli Alpini in Poiano. The patronal feast dedicated to Saints Peter and Paul will begin on Friday 28 June, with the opening of the cloisters and inflatable games for children at 6pm. The celebrations will then continue until Sunday.

EVENTS
Antiques and modern antiques market in Valeggio sul Mincio
The antiques and modern antiques market returns to Valeggio sul Mincio on 30 June. Originally scheduled for June 23, the event was postponed due to adverse weather conditions. The new appointment is therefore set for Sunday 30 June from 8am to 6.30pm in the historic center of Valeggio sul Mincio.
Eurovillage
On the occasion of the European Football Championships, from 14 June to 14 July, the Spazio di Quartiere ABC group is organizing table tennis, table football, 2v2 and 3v3 five-a-side football and the possibility of watch Italy matches in company. Entrance is free from 6pm to midnight.
Tacabanda
Mark your calendars for June 28-30 for the third edition of Tacabanda: an unmissable cultural and musical event in Dolcè, full of activities and surprises for all ages! The three-day festival promises to entertain with a varied program that ranges from music to art, from workshops to artisan markets.
Festival of San Pietro e Paolo in Corso di Grezzana
Great music, good food and lots of fun await you in Corso di Grezzana during the Sagra di San Pietro e Paolo which will be held from 28 to 30 June. This year there are many new features for everyone, including the youngest guests.
Rally Due Valli
The engines of the Rally Due Valli are turned on, the historic car event now in its 42nd edition that will take place on Friday 28 and Saturday 29 June between the city and the hills of eastern Verona. The event, which sees 117 participants competing, is organized by the Automobile Club Verona in collaboration with ACI Verona Sport and numerous partners.
Legs in the Air Festival
A garden in the heart of Verona, surrounded by trees and embraced by the ancient walls of the city, in via Nievo. This is the new location of the Gambe all’Aria Festival organized by Fucina Machiavelli and Bam! Bam! Teatro, now in its fourth edition, which will take place from Thursday 27 to Saturday 29 June. The program includes three evenings dedicated to children, young people, adults and families with artistic proposals and workshops dedicated to nature. Starting at 6 pm with themed workshops and laboratories. There is a dedicated bar inside the festival. Possibility of dining in the park.
MUSICA
Elio & Le Storie Tese
The Roman Theater of Verona will host a truly unique event of its kind on June 30th, at 9.15 pm: Elio & Le Storie Tese will bring their new show “I only have one tooth left and I’m trying to screw it back in” on stage. The group’s “innovative” choice should be highlighted: everything will be played live, without the aid of backing tracks, sampling or the infamous autotune.
Figaro, Aida and Turandot at the Verona Arena
The 101st Arena di Verona Opera Festival continues. From 27 to 29 June, on the stage of the La Scala amphitheatre, three unmissable operas. On Thursday, Il Barber of Seville with the acclaimed cast of the premiere. Following, Aida “of crystal” with a new protagonist and the latest rerun of Turandot.

Bite the Sky
Paolo Crepet, Italian psychiatrist, sociologist, educator, essayist and commentator, will be the protagonist with his new conference show “Mordere il Cielo”, in Verona on the stage of the Teatro Romano on June 28 at 9.15 pm.

Max Angioni, not surprisingly known as “the one with miracles”, returns to Verona, precisely to the Roman Theater on 29 June 2024, after the astonishing success of his last tour, which determined his irreversible ascent to the Olympus of the most surprising artists of the last century. This time he doesn’t just stage a simple show, but a real work of art…
Come Cyrano
“Come Cyrano” in Piazza Isolo from June 30 to July 6, 2024. How many forms does love have? The actors of TrixTragos are passionate about this dilemma, and have decided to bring to the stage, for the “Teatro nei Cortili” festival of the Municipality of Verona, an updated and feminine version of the famous text “Cyrano de Bergerac”.
Strong Gisella in Dance
From June 28 to 30 and from July 5 to 7, the contemporary dance festival returns. The festival, which is part of the “Intrecci” section of the Estate Teatrale Veronese, features 15 professional Italian companies and a Belgian company. It takes place at Forte Gisella, which is part of the system of 19th-century forts in the city.

CINEMA
Among the new releases in Verona cinemas we point out:
- Hit Man – Accidental Killer – «In the film “Hit Man” we follow the actions of Gary Johnson (played by Glen Powell), an investigator who passes himself off as a hitman. His mission is to infiltrate the people who hire him as an assassin and gather valuable information. The film takes us into the dark and dangerous world of organized crime, where the line between justice and corruption becomes increasingly thin». Director: Richard Linklater.
Festival Cinelà Africa Short
The screenings will be in Borgo Roma in Verona from June 22nd to 29th, at the Santa Teresa open-air cinema in via Molinara. Eight days to meet and watch together 20 short films and 3 feature films in the evenings, engaging with guests who will liven up the post-viewing and moments of reflection with directors and experts. The international jury also includes the actor Hichem Yacoubi, one of the interpreters of the film nominated for an Oscar I am Captain.

Azzurra Carrara Pantano, the first Veronese botany
Photographs, field sample collection and classification of plants from Italy, the Mediterranean area and Europe. Azzurra Carrara Pantano, the first Veronese botanist to whom the Natural History Museum of Verona is dedicating a special temporary exhibition until 14 July 2024, has dedicated her life to the study of life forms in the plant world.
Per Speculum. Intelligence and its Double
On the occasion of the reopening of Fondazione Spazio Vitale, the exhibition of “Per Speculum. Intelligence and its Double” is planned. An exhibition project curated by Domenico Quaranta, which investigates the concerns raised by artificial intelligence. The collective exhibition will remain on display until June 29th.
Looks and moments of peace
“Il mondo di Irene” with the curatorial support of Cosmogramma Studio has exhibited at Sala Birolli in Verona the exhibition “Eco di un Grido”, included in the larger project “Sguardi di Pace”. A part of the exhibition will now continue until July 31st at the Casa Di Salute Verona medical clinic to offer everyone the opportunity to reflect on the privilege of living in a country not directly involved in a conflict, through the viewing of images that were taken by amateur and professional photographers.
Terracotta images
Offerings in sanctuaries, requests for grace to the gods or homage for a grace already received. This was the purpose of the male and female heads or half heads made of terracotta and protagonists of the temporary exhibition set up from 8 November 2023 to 6 October 2024 at the Archaeological Museum at the Roman Theatre. A rich collection of 380 terracotta figures, preserved in the archives of the Museum and usually not exhibited to the public.
Virtual Identities / Fragile Lands
E.ART.H. Foundation enriches the exhibition program for spring-summer 2024 with two new exhibitions in Verona: “Identità Virtuali” by Piergiorgio Del Ben and “Terre Fragili” by Pierluigi Slis, open to the public free of charge until 31 August 2024. The exhibitions, curated by Alessandra Santin and Giulia Adami, with the collaboration of Michele Filippi, present the works of the two artists through unpublished projects specifically designed for the spaces of the Ex Specialized Refrigerating Station.
CONTEMPORARY NON-STOP. The breath of nature | AIR
“CONTEMPORARY NON-STOP. The breath of nature | AIR”, curated by Patrizia Nuzzo (curator responsible for the modern and contemporary art collection), is open to the public from 7 October 2023 to 6 October 2024 to offer a new experiential journey focused on the element of air, understood in its dual value as a generative or destructive principle. A journey that, from the single fragment of the work of Anaximenes of Miletus (586 BC – 528 BC), finds its development to become an exhibition on the occasion of the third event dedicated to contemporary art at the GAM in Verona.
Giulio Paolini And in Arcadia I
The unpublished project by Giulio Paolini entitled “Giulio Paolini Et in Arcadia Ego”, created at the Gallery of Modern Art, curated by Patrizia Nuzzo and Stefano Raimondi, is a project that brings together the Civic Museums – Gallery of Modern Art Achille Forti and ArtVerona, for a format specifically designed for the GAM spaces, which from 15 October 2023 to 25 August 2024, at Palazzo della Ragione, presents to the public the key elements of the artist’s research, in which unpublished works, conceived to the Veronese museum, dialogue with works from the public collection, such as “The Apparition of the Virgin” by Paolini himself, present in the civic collection since 2002.
