Olbia is preparing to host the stars of classical dance

Olbia. The magnificent scenery of the Gulf of Olbia is preparing to become the scene of an extraordinary event: La Nuit des Étoiles. On July 27, Piazza Francesco Crispi will host an exceptional gala celebrating the 25 years of the Choreographic Dance Showcase, held this year from July 12 to 14 in Porto Rotondo.

The countdown began with the opening of ticket sales, available online in the Ticketing section of the website www.lanuitdesetoiles.it and physically in Olbia at Stage One, in via G. D’Annunzio, 1.

The event promises to be an exclusive evening, open to the general public, where the magic of ballet will be the protagonist at the highest levels. Under the artistic direction of the renowned choreographer Mavi Careddu, some of the most important international stars of classical dance will perform in a show that promises to be unforgettable. Among the participants, Steven McRae, Principal Dancer of the Royal Ballet of London, and Iana Salenko, Prima Ballerina of the Staatsballett of Berlin, stand out, who will present the world premiere of a new performance of Maurice Ravel’s Boléro. Bleuenn Battistoni and Paul Marque, respectively Étoile Ballerina and Étoile Dancer of the Paris Opera, will also perform some classic choreographies by Rudolf Nureyev, originally proposed in the famous Parisian theatre.

  • Gioacchino Starace – Dancer at the Teatro alla Scala in Milan
  • Claudio Coviello – Principal Dancer of the Teatro alla Scala in Milan

Tickets for the July 27 event are available until sold out at a price of €25 each, online in the Ticketing section of the website www.lanuitdesetoiles.it and physically in Olbia at Stage One, in via G. D’Annunzio, 1. Venue La Nuit des Étoiles will have the Gulf of Olbia as its backdrop, with the stage set up in Piazza Francesco Crispi, thanks to the support of the Autonomous Region of Sardinia, Department of Public Education, Cultural Heritage, Information, Entertainment and Sport. Mavi Careddu, trained in the most prestigious international academies, is enthusiastic about the concept of this evening. “La Nuit des Étoiles was created to celebrate 25 years of the Vetrina Choreografica di Danza, a competition that has made Sardinia a point of reference in the international tourist and cultural circuit. We wanted a gala that would bring dance to the city, making this extraordinary event accessible to all,” said the choreographer.

The evening will feature a varied program that ranges from the great dance classics to contemporary pieces, to offer a rich and enjoyable show for everyone. Among the most anticipated performances, in addition to Ravel’s Boléro, there will be contemporary choreographies such as “Cantata” by Mauro Bigonzetti performed by Linda Giubelli, Claudio Coviello, Antonella Albano and Gioacchino Starace.

La Nuit des Étoiles promises to be an unmissable event for dance lovers and for all those who want to experience a magical evening under the stars of the Gulf of Olbia.
