Tango rhythm music festival dedicated to the students and families of the “Tattoli-De Gasperi” Comprehensive Institute of Corato. This is the proposal that the AlterAzioni association of Bisceglie, engaged in the implementation of the Siae PerChiCrea project which is affecting the entire comprehensive institute, decided to present on the occasion of the traditional musical event of the 2024 Music Festival at the invitation of the Pro Loco Quadratum of Corato.
L’“Tattoli -De Gasperi” comprehensive institutein the person of his Director Prof. Maria Rosaria De Simone, enthusiastically accepted the invitation of Pro Loco Quadratum to present a musical proposal extended to the city, hence the choice to present the event “Dedicated to ASTOR” in the’Atrium of the City Palace on the occasion of such a significant date as that of June 21st which sees schools, associations, municipalities and institutions mobilized at a national level to celebrate music and the multiple meanings it expresses.
The protagonist of the event is the AlterAzioni string quintet formed by Clelia Sguera and Matteo Notarangelo to violins, Vincenzo Anselmi on viola, Anna Fasanella on the cello and Leonardo Lospalluti on the guitar. A program entirely dedicated to tango which will present music by Piazzolla and Gardel.
The musical proposal fits within the Project “A new king listening”, winning result at national level of SIAE PerChiCrea2023 call, training and promotion of music in schools. This is a structured and complex project created in partnership with theAlterAzioni Association of Bisceglie, which since December 2023 has recorded numerous musical activities within the “Tattoli-De Gasperi” comprehensive institute differentiated by age and class. which will be completed in the next few months of the new school year.
There Pro Loco Quadratum, organizer and coordinator of the evening, wanted to give the right emphasis to such an important project not only for the “Tattoli-De Gasperi”, but for the entire Coratina community.
“We could not fail to welcome the invitation of our Pro Loco with whom we have been collaborating for years and underline with this participation the close bond that binds us to our territory and to the entire Coratina community. The activities of the SiaePerChiCrea Project that we have been developing in recent months are giving us the concrete possibility of offering our students extraordinary opportunities for participatory listening and active involvement in musical activities. All the activities carried out so far have already fully met our expectations and we are eager to see the next scheduled events carried out which will also see our students involved as active protagonists”.
Director Prof. DeSimone commented on the initiative thus, adding: “This occasion offers the possibility of making the entire city aware of the important activity that is taking place within our school on the occasion of such a significant date as the Music Festival. We therefore thank the Pro Loco Quadratum who wanted to invite us to participate in this initiative and we are sure that our students and their families will enthusiastically appreciate the event and with it the possibility of participating with their own children in the evening”.
The appointment is for 21 June 2024, starting at 7.30pm.
