Castellammare – Yet another accident in the municipal park, two boys run over an old woman
The injured woman was taken to the San Leonardo hospital. The administration will have to intervene to restore safety to an area that has become a no man’s land

Yet another accident on the Stabiese seafront. On Saturday evening, shortly before midnight, two boys on a scooter hit an elderly woman. The woman, who fell to the ground after the impact, suffered injuries to an arm and cheekbone as well as abrasions to her legs. Two ambulances intervened on the scene and helped one of the two boys, who also fell although without suffering any particular trauma, and the woman who was instead taken to the San Leonardo hospital for checks. The episode brings back to the forefront the danger of a municipal villa that has become
a no man’s land between scooters that speed out of control and cars parked in double and sometimes even triple rows, congesting traffic especially between via Duilio and Piazza Principe Umberto. Fundamental, now that with the good weather the municipal villa will become more and more crowded and the frequency of accidents is starting to become worrying, will be the restoration of the ztl which, to date, would seem not to have been foreseen yet. An emergency on which the municipal administration of the new mayor Vicinanza will have to reflect in order to intervene quickly by finding effective solutions.
