The Fano summer is ready to light up with the city’s first big event. In fact, next weekend at the Lido di Fano the tape of time will be rewound for everyone to take a dive into the legendary 80s and 90s, with the protagonists and stars of the time. The third edition of the Boomerang-Rewind Festival 80-90 will in fact be characterized by the presence of 14 fixed themed stations (including music, games and food and wine) and by two central stages (in Largo Seneca and in Piazzale Amendola, which for four days will become Largo Bellavista, thanks to the collaboration with the venue of the same name), where the key moments of the event will be experienced. The already announced godmother Patty Pravo is eagerly awaited, with the ribbon cutting scheduled for Friday 21 June at 7pm, followed by the Karaoke moment and the performance of Sergio Casabianca and the Gocce.
At 10.30pm, a timeless star will illuminate Largo Seneca, with the eternal ‘Piper Girl’ who will sing some of the songs that made her famous before leaving room for the DJ set. But, although the official opening of this revival party will be on Friday, the show will begin on Thursday with a football-themed event. In fact, the world champion of Italia ’82 Ciccio Graziani (photo) will take to the stage in Largo Seneca on which a giant screen will be set up, together with other former footballers (Canestrari, Cornacchini, Me ie Barbaresi) and the new mayor of Fano Luca Serfilippi who is a Futsal referee in Serie A, will comment on the Euro2024 Italy-Spain match. “Commentating on the match together with a legend like Ciccio Graziani will be an honor – comments Serfilippi -. Beyond the number of editions, Boomerang can already be counted among the great events of the city because last year it filled the Lido and its activities economic ones, which in fact support him compactly this year”. Among the objectives is to enhance the symbolic “objects” of those years: so the DeLorean from Back to the Future will be stationed at the Lido for 4 days; in the Baby Boomerang space you can play the Cheerful Surgeon and Guess Who?; at the Cavea you can have a horror experience with the Addams Family… Another evening not to be missed will be that of Saturday with the presence of Marco Della Noce.
