From 17 June in Fagnano Olona and from 20 June in Busto Arsizior they will open them Proximity offices. A way to “bring citizens closer to justice”, underlined the mayor Emanuele Antonelli. «It will no longer be necessary to go to Court, but they will be able to do the things planned here. This is a small step, but an important one. We would like to do more because we must be one”, continued the mayor of Busto.
Words shared by president of the Court, Miro Santangelowho added: «This service allows the citizen to have not only information from the Municipality, but also support in filling out forms and the institution will directly send the requests to the Court and provide information on the status of the procedure».
A network that will extend throughout the Olona Valley: «We mayors fight every day to be alongside the citizens and it is important that they know the services we offer», said the mayor of Fagnano Marco Baroffio.
Also sharing and applauding the initiative deputy mayor of Castellanza, Cristina Borroniwho underlined the importance of the network that has been created between the Court and various municipalities: «Unity is strength».
Even the councilors Paola Reguzzoni (social inclusion and health of Busto Arsizio) e Dario Moretti (social services and equal opportunities of Fagnano) expressed their joy in offering the most vulnerable citizens a big helping hand. With them the trainer Maat for Anci Lombardia Monica Menini.
The doctor Anna Maria Mirarcoofficial in charge of the Innovation Office of the Court, was personally responsible for managing this new project: “We must make citizens feel protected, not only the vulnerable ones, but also their relatives.”
The creation of the Proximity Office is part of a broader project, financed by the European Union through the Operational Program Complementary to the National Operational Program Governance and Institutional Capacity 2014-2020, coordinated by the Ministry of Justice throughout the national territory.
Specifically, the Busto Arsizio Office was activated in collaboration with the Region, the Busto Arsizio Court, with the Medio Olona Special Consortium Company for Personal Services and with the training support of Anci Lombardia.
The Busto Arsizio office (via Candiani) will be open from 2.30pm to 5.30pm on Thursdays by appointment only by calling on opening days at 0331.390490 (on other days at 0331.390117 – email ufficiodiprossimita @comune.bustoarsizio.va.it). While the one in Fagnano (Piazza Cavour) will be open every Monday from 2.30pm to 5.30pm (0331.616571, [email protected]).
Furthermore, the citizens of Busto and Valle will not have to refer to one of the two branches specifically, but will be able to contact both.

Forward paperwork to the Support Administration; request authorization from the titular judge; request authorization for the issuance of valid documents for expatriation; receive support for filling out the forms in force at the judicial offices; have assistance and support on legal protection institutions (guardians, minor guardianships, support administrations); obtain assistance for other voluntary jurisdiction services that do not require the assistance of a lawyer.
