The children speak to their peers in a simple language that is immediately perceivable. The objective is to inform and prevent nutrition and eating disorders.

There are six awarded videos/cartoons, all taken from as many stories created by students of secondary primary and secondary schools, as part of the “There was a turning point” competition, launched to secondary primary and secondary schools by the Social Affairs Sector of the Municipality of Molfetta in collaboration with the Cibiamoci Association, with the aim of opening a constant dialogue with younger people aimed at intercepting and overcoming problems linked to eating and nutrition disorders and the resulting consequences.

The awards ceremony was attended by, in addition to the municipal representative of the project, Cinzia De Palma, and the project managers, Dr. Lidia De Leonardis, with whom the Cibiamoci project started in recent years and who strongly wanted it to be revived, the the councilor for social affairs Anna Capurso, the Mayor Tommaso Minervini. The competition involved the creation by the students of short stories whose animation was then entrusted to Michele Albanese.

The young cartoonist managed to give shape to the thoughts and imagination of the young authors returning from hours of training conducted in schools by the experts Stefania Giammarino, Fedora Nettis and Nicolò Altamura of the Cibiamoci-Anthropos Association which he made available to the Social Affairs Sector of the Municipality its experience in the matter, with its staff trained as a psychologist-psychotherapist, biologist-nutritionist and professional educator.
