“Sardinia at km0”the national food education project for the Friendly Campaign and sustainable development, carried out by Coldiretti Friendly Campaign Northern Sardinia and which over time has involved many local schools, is also renewed for the next school year.
The opportunity to present the news in view of the start of the new 2024/2025 program is the theater show staged with the young people of the 3rd class C of the “Salvatore Farina” comprehensive school which will be held tomorrow, Friday 7 June ( from 10am) at the Verdi theater in Sassari. The event organized by Coldiretti Campagna Amica Nord Sardegna, in collaboration with the Sassari institute and with the precious help of the educational assistants of the La Gaia Scienza social cooperative.
“The project which aims to involve the various educational and productive agencies of the territory – they explain from Coldiretti – aims among its objectives to carry out food and environmental education initiatives starting from the youngest primary and nursery school children in the north of the island. Among the specific objectives are those of acquiring greater awareness about healthy eating and physical activity, about economic disparities in the world, and about the risks that pollution represents for the environment. During the project period, educational workshops will be organized throughout the area, curated by Coldiretti tutors and Campagna Amica producers, during which the role of the Coldiretti markets and Campagna Amica food products will be discussed and a focus will be placed on some leading productions of agriculture and agri-food in Sardinia. Sensory itineraries and awareness raising on pollution and recycling are also planned.”
The Coldiretti Sardinia leaders and the president will be present at tomorrow’s meeting Battista Cualbu and the director Luca Sabathe territorial summits with the president Coldiretti Nord Sardinia, Antonello Fois and the director Ermanno Mazzettithose responsible for the project with Lucia Oggiano Campagna Amica Nord Sardegna, as well as the president of AgriMercato, Gianni Muntoni and to representatives of the school world and institutions.
