After the debut victory against Calabriathe men’s and women’s selections of Sicily they also won against the Basilicata to the 16th Mediterranean Tournament. The two teams are undefeated, but they experienced two very different games: the boys overcame the first quarter deficit and won by 3 points; the girls won by a landslide taking a large lead from the first quarter.
The Sicilian men’s selection took to the field against Calabria
Four players from Messina will be on the field in the men’s competition: Matteo Bianco (Orlandina), Giuseppe Trimarchi (Fortitude Messina), Nicolas Constantine And Claudio Grasso (Pcr Messina). In the afternoon the games will be decided for the title, which the men’s Sicily team has won in the last six editions: at 3.45 pm it will be played Puglia-Sicily (male at Botteghelle and female at Pianeta Viola).
