Calcio Padova announces that the transfer of the 1994-born striker Alberto Spagnoli has been formalized. Spagnoli has signed a contract with Padova until June 30, 2027.
“The hiring of Alberto Spagnoli demonstrates our desire to bring in a few, but careful, quality players to shore up a squad that is already very competitive at heart and a close-knit core to be able to aspire to our goal,” declared President Francesco Peghin.
The Spanish curriculum
Alberto Spagnoli was born in Pordenone on 2 October 1994 and is a 186 cm forward.
Raised as a footballer in the youth sector of Liventina, in the 2010/2011 season he moved to the youth sector of Milan, winning the Scudetto with the Allievi Nazionali. In the 2011/2012 season he scored 8 goals in 26 appearances with the Hellas Verona Primavera. He returned to Milan the following season, scoring 3 goals with the Rossoneri Primavera. In the 2013/2014 season he moved to Sacilese in Serie D, scoring 7 goals in 30 games; he repeated the following season, scoring 8 goals in 33 games, in the same group won by Biancoscudati Padova.
He was then bought by SudTirol in Serie C in the 2015/2016 season, scoring 3 goals in 17 games, with 2 goals in 29 matches the following season. In 2017/2018 he was bought by Mestre where he scored 6 goals in 32 games, while the following season he moved to Renate.
In 2019/2020 he wore the Modena jersey with 4 goals in 20 matches, 6 goals in 36 matches the following season including the decisive goal in Padova-Modena on 23 December 2020 (0-1), before moving to FeralpiSalò scoring 4 goals in 33 matches in 2021/2022. In the summer of 2022 he moved to Ancona, scoring 11 goals in 27 matches and improving the score in the 2023/2024 season with 15 goals in 34 matches.
