After five days “in the dark”, electricity has returned to the home of Mr. Bruno, the 80-year-old citizen who turned to the “Gazzetta” to tell his misadventure (we talked about it yesterday): “I have always paid the bills, but they cut off the electricity without warning” he explained.
The supplier, Iren, responded: “The mishap that befell Mr. Bruno was caused by an error for which neither Iren Luce gas e servizi nor the citizen have any responsibility – the Group reports. In fact, Mr. Bruno’s Pod, probably due to an error, was switched to another vendor. Bruno, realizing that he was no longer supplied by Iren, came to the Parma counter asking to return to supply with Iren Mercato, which immediately activated the “restoration” procedure for the supply itself.”
“Unfortunately, in the meantime, the vendor that the citizen was mistakenly supplied with, started the disconnection of the electricity, obviously without Iren having any responsibility for the incident – declares the supplier -. The offices of Iren Luce Gas e Servizi were committed to quickly resolving the situation, supporting Mr. Bruno in managing this unpleasant inconvenience. The case reported by the citizen, although, as we have seen, it is possible, still represents an exceptional situation”.
