RIMINI: Firefighter dead, expert report, “killed by punches and kicks”

The firefighter who died a year ago after a fight outside a club in Rimini was killed by the bouncer’s kicks and punches, and not by the fall. This is what emerges from the expert report requested by the judge.

The tragic death of firefighter Giuseppe Tucci found an explanation in the medical-legal report by Dr. Loredana Buscemi. The 34-year-old lost his life a year ago outside a club in Rimini after a fight with the bouncer, perhaps over a girl.

Based on the expert report commissioned by the Rimini court, there is a causal link between the beatings inflicted by Klajdi Mjeshtri, a 29-year-old Albanian, and Tucci’s death. The victim was punched and kicked outside the Frontemare nightclub on the night between 10 and 11 June a year ago after the argument broke out in the room.

The super-partes expert – as reported by the local press – ruled out that the fireman’s fall to the ground or the consumption of alcohol contributed to his death. The cause of death was apparently a massive hemorrhage following the rupture of the left vertebral artery, an injury compatible with the blows to the neck and head, no fewer than nine, delivered by Mjeshtri. Reconstruction in line with the testimonies already collected by the prosecutor’s office which disputes the voluntary homicide aggravated by the impaired defense and by having acted in a work environment.

The accused, who chose the abbreviated procedure, has been in prison since the day after Tucci’s death. The report will be discussed in court on September 18.
