Dangerous road potholes in via Altofonte and piazza Turba: “Urgent intervention needed” :: Report in Palermo

Hello, I would like to make a report given that for months the situation of the potholes in via Altofonte from the number where the “Vincenzo Ragusa e Otama Kiyohara” state artistic high school is located located in piazza Turba 71 and in via Altofonte 83B, where there is the petrol pump, on the corner there is a huge hole. And then that junction is particularly dangerous as people, despite the ban, still enter to reach the Cus and avoid taking the tour from via Palmerino. Last but not least, it is now the habit of many motorists to travel this road from Piazza Turba towards Viale Regione at a very high speed, risking running over pedestrians and children.

I would recommend putting in some artificial speed bumps so as to slow down the more reckless cars that haven’t quite understood that that road is in a town and not along a motorway. The situation is getting worse, as it is a very busy road with cars, trucks, firefighters and law enforcement. I hope that measures are taken quickly to avoid another tragic accident like the one in Viale Regione Siciliana where that boy died. Finally, I point out a pothole in Piazza Turba, in the direction of Corso Pisani, before the Lungaro barracks. I would also check Corso Pisani since many ambulances and law enforcement agencies pass there.
